The SF341B (SF-341B) Code Call Station operates all system code signals, and is designed for use in ICU/CCU, physical therapy rooms, post-op recovery, or any location where code call initiation may be required. The large 1.1" (28 mm) blue pull-down lever is used for code call activation. The red call-placed LED indicator flashes to provide for call assurance. Calls are registered on the master station (and duty station, if used) via audible and visual signals pulsing at a rate of twice that of a standard emergency signal. Local indication on dome lights is also provided. Call cancellation is possible only at the originating location.

Architects' & Engineers' Specifications: Code call station shall be TekTone® SF341B or approved equal. Code stations and wiring from code stations to patient stations shall be supervised. Operation of code signals shall be accomplished by pulling down on the blue lever marked CODE. The red call-placed LED indicator shall flash to assure that the call has been properly placed. The initiation of the code call shall cause the activation of both audible and visual signals, pulsing at a rate twice that of a standard emergency signal. Call cancellation shall be possible only at point of origin. Reliable, solid-state components shall be used, and plug-in connectors shall be provided for electrical connections. The SF341B shall be UL® 1069 Listed. |
