IR-082D 3-Wire

Oversized 3 Wire
Apartment Intercom Stations

IR-082D is a 3 wire oversized apartment station which is an economical replacement stations for old Auth ‘777’ and ‘811’ installations. Although not circuitry compatible, they are oversized to cover the old Auth wall cutouts, and fit existing back boxes.

Contemporary styling, featuring fog white color and pleasing lines, compliments most decors. Advanced circuitry and simple pushbutton operation make this the perfect station for use in large or small buildings.

System Operation:
The visitor, by pressing the appropriate button on the entrance panel, causes an electronic tone signal to be heard at the IR-082. The resident responds by pushing the TALK button while speaking to the caller, the LISTEN button while waiting for a reply, and the DOOR button to allow entry to the building.

Save money - installation is quick, easy, attractive, and eliminates the need for plastering and painting over the old hole.

Architects' & Engineers' Specifications:
Suite stations shall be LEE DAN^® model IR-082D or approved equal and shall be large enough to cover the area occupied by the previous intercom. Momentary action pushbuttons shall be provided for TALK, LISTEN, and DOOR operations. The speaker/microphone shall be a 3 1/2", 45 Ohm, 1 Watt, heavy duty magnet, high sensitivity type with voice-frequency response. Speaker and buttons shall be field serviceable. Glued-in-place components will not be acceptable.

SPECIFICATIONS

Size: 12 1/2"H, 5 1/2"W, 1 1/2"D. Projects only 1/2" from mounting surface.

Controls: Individual button controls for Talk, Listen and Door Release functions.

Finish: White powder coat on steel.

Holes: 2 Mounting holes, 10 1/2" on center.

Screws: Includes 2 scrulox tamper resistant mounting screws.

Amplifier: Use Lee Dan model PK-543A.

Speaker: 3 1/2", 1 Watt, 45 Ohm. Heavy duty magnet with natural voice reproduction. Also used for tone signal from lobby panel.

Speaker Baffle: High impact white ABS plastic speaker grille.

Buttons: Individually replaceable self-wiping pushbuttons.

WIRING REQUIREMENTS

It is always advisable to run spares!

IR-082D = 3 Wires. Use 1 twisted pair, plus 1 selective #22 gauge.
