The IR318B (IR-318B) single patient station provides reliable two-way hands-free communication between patient and nurse, and provides for programmable privacy, paging and patient priority from the master station. Calling the nurse is accomplished by pulling on the end of the pull cord. Solid-state LEDs on the panel indicate the call has been placed and the intercom is in use. |

Architects' & Engineers' Specifications: Patient Station shall be a TekTone® IR318B (IR-318B) or approved equal as supplied by LEE DAN® Stations and wiring from the Central Equipment (CE) to stations, shall by fully supervised. The patient stations shall include solid-state LSI/microprocessor technology, yellow call-placed indicator, and combination red in-use indicator and reset button. Patient station shall include one pull chord. The station shall use a 2.5" x 2.5" speaker/microphone for accurate voice reproduction. All station components shall be mounted on an attractive, flame-retardant (UL® 94V-0) plastic panel. Connections shall be plug-in type. The IR318B shall be UL® 1069 Listed |
