“3311” REPLACEMENT APARTMENT STATION
APPLICATION
LEE DAN's IR-086S
is an economical apartment intercom station designed specifically for replacement
of Auth model '3311' stations.
The IR-086S is large enough to cover the area occupied by most previous units, minimizing labor and making repainting unnecessary.
Contemporary styling, featuring fog white color and pleasing lines, compliments most decors. Advanced circuitry and simple pushbutton operation make this the perfect station for use in large or small buildings.
SYSTEM
OPERATION
The visitor, by pressing
the appropriate button on the entrance panel, causes an electronic tone
signal to be heard at the IR-086S. The resident responds by pushing the
TALK button while speaking to the caller, the LISTEN button while waiting
for a reply, and the DOOR button to allow entry to the building.
SPECIFICATIONS
Size:
6 7/8"H, 6 1/8"W, 1 3/4"D. Projects only 3/8" from mounting surface.
Controls: Individually replaceable button controls for Talk, Listen and Door Release functions. Buttons have self-wiping plated contacts.
Finish: Fog White textured powder coat on steel.
Holes: 2 vertical mounting holes (5 3/8" on center). Holes are positioned to fit existing surface or flush back box.
Screws: Includes 2 (1 1/2") scrulox tamper resistant mounting screws.
Amplifier: Use existing Auth (Auth-Florence) amplifier.
Speaker: 3 1/2", 1 Watt, 45 Ohm. Heavy duty magnet with natural voice-frequency response. Also used for tone signal from lobby panel.
Speaker Baffle: High impact white ABS plastic speaker grille.

Suite stations shall be
LEE DAN® model IR-086S or approved equal and shall
be large enough to cover the area occupied by the previous intercom. Momentary
action pushbuttons shall be provided for TALK, LISTEN, and DOOR operations.
The speaker/microphone shall be a 3 1/2", 45 Ohm, 1 Watt, heavy duty magnet,
high sensitivity type with voice-frequency response. Pigtail or plug-in
terminal connections shall be provided.
