The IR311E (IR-311E) Single Patient Station provides reliable two-way, hands-free communication between patient and nurse, and provides for programmable privacy, paging and patient priority from the master station. Calling the nurse is accomplished by pressing the call cord button or the area indicated NURSE on the pillow speaker. Solid-state LEDs on the panel indicate the call has been placed and the intercom is in use. If the pillow speaker or call cord is accidently removed from its receptacle, the nurse master stations registers a non-cancelable call with cord out indication. The call may be reset only by returning the call cord or pillow speaker to its receptacle. The pillow speaker also provides television control. The IR312E (IR-312E) Dual Patient Station has the same specifications and functions as the IR311E, and has an additional independently operating call cord/pillow speaker receptacle, and another call-placed indicator. |

Architects' & Engineers' Specifications: Patient Stations shall be TekTone®'s IR311E (IR-311E), IR312E (IR-312E) or approved equal as supplied by LEE DAN®. Stations, and wiring from the Central Equipment (CE) to stations, shall be supervised. The patient stations shall include solid-state LSI/microprocessor technology, yellow call-placed indicator(s), and combination red in-use indicator and reset button. Single patient stations shall include one 8 conductor modular RJ-45 jack type receptacle for pillow speakers or patient's call cord. Dual-patient stations shall include two jacks. The station shall use a 2.5" x 2.5" speaker/microphone for accurate voice reproduction. Removal of the call cord or pillow speaker from the receptacle shall result in placing a call with the indication of cord out at the master station. The call can be reset only by replacing the call cord or pillow speaker in its receptacle. All station components shall be mounted on an attractive, flame-retardant (UL® 94V-0) plastic panel. Connections shall be plug-in type. The IR311E, IR312E shall be UL® 1069 Listed. |
