Sometimes it just isn't practical or efficient to install cable for a hard-wired intercom entry system. That's why, in addition to our broad line of intercom systems, LEE DAN^® also offers our sensible Tele-Guard™ telephone entry system.

Tele-Guard™ is easy for visitors and residents to use. Visitors select the resident's code number (not the phone number), from a directory and dial that code. Tele-Guard™ speed-dials the resident's phone number permitting a normal two way phone conversation. Any resident called from the Tele-Guard™ entry panel can let visitors into the building/development by simply dialing '9' on their touch tone or rotary telephone.

You'll appreciate how easy Tele-Guard™ is to install. Use a standard RJ11C phone jack to tie into existing telephone wires. System power is provided by a plug-in transformer included with the panel. Only two more wires are needed to connect the panel to an optional electric door release with an additional low voltage transformer.
