SF-401DIG (SF401DIG) Pillow Speakers are used with Tek-CARE® NC300II IR319- and IR320-series patient stations. The SF-401DIG(SF401DIG) provide call placement to the master station, as well as remote control for hospital-grade digital TVs. When used in conjunction with TekTone® PM311C or PM312C Pillow Speaker Intercom Modules, the unit also supplies two-way, hands-free communication with the master station, and automatic silencing of TV and radio audio while the intercom is in use. When used with TekTone®'s RY350B Radio Relay, the SF-401DIG(SF401DIG) provides 4-channel radio control. Press the push button identified by the white cross to call the nurse. Separate push buttons are provided for TV on/off, channel selection up/down, Closed Captioning and radio on/off. Buttons are also provided for volume up/down, and room and read light controls.

Architects' & Engineers' Specifications: The pillow speaker shall be TekTone® SF401DIG (SF-401DIG) or approved equal as supplied by LEE DAN®, and shall be suitable for use in general or oxygen environments. It shall have a 2.75" Mylar® cone speaker. The pillow speaker case shall be constructed of flame retardant high-impact ABS plastic. All momentary contact SPST switches shall be rated for over 1 million operations. The pillow speaker cord shall be eight feet long and shall have an 8-pin DIN plug at the end. The cord shall also be provided with strain relief. Each pillow speaker shall be provided with a security clip. Controls shall be provided for volume, nurse call, lamp, television and radio functions. The pillow speaker shall be capable of switching automatically from entertainment audio to intercom audio when used with the appropriate modules. The pillow speaker shall be electrostatic discharge (ESD) protected to over 12,000 volts. The SF41-series shall be UL® 1069 Listed.
