The SF156B (SF-156B) Code Station is
used to operate all system code
signals (except supervised code blue applications). It may be used independently or connected
with other call stations
or intercom stations. Placing a code call is accomplished by
pulling the slideswitch located
at the center of the panel to the down position. Returning the slide-switch
to the up position
cancels the call.

Code station
shall be TekTone®
SF156B
(SF-156B) or approved Equal as supplied by LEE DAN®. Operation of all
system code signals shall be accomplished by activating the
centrally-located slideswitch. Call placement is
indicated by a rapid flashing red light. Canceling the call shall be
possible only at the point of origin. Reliable solid-state components
shall be used. A plug-in wiring pigtail shall be provided for all
connections. The SF156B (SF-156B)
shall be
used in conjunction with a PK-153 third priority control unit to
provide a separate and distinct flash and tone rate. The
SF156B (SF-156B) shall
be UL®
1069
