UL Addressable Dome/Zone Light


The LI386C (LI-386C) Dome/Zone Light with built-in multipurpose station provides visual indication of calls, originating from bath, emergency and code call switches when used as a dome light. The LI386C also indicates calls originating from patient, staff and duty stations when used as a zone light.

The LI386C also indicates all calls from the zones to which those stations are assigned and provides communication to and from the central equipment, including the nurse master station and monitor. It is used with remotely-mounted devices such as switches, contact closures, or other signal-originating equipment. No controls are provided.

Architects' & Engineers' Specifications:

Dome/Zone Lights shall be TekTone® LI-386C or approved equal as supplied by   LEE DAN®.

The supervised corridor light shall be sectional in design. Lights shall include one each amber, red and green flame-retardant translucent polycarbonate plastic lenses, and one white flame-retardant translucent polystyrene plastic lens. All lenses shall be mounted on a flame-retardant (UL 94V-0) plastic base panel. The lenses shall be individually removable without the use of tools, for ease of bulb replacement. The four bulbs, in conjunction with the different colored lenses, shall provide for indication of patient call priority and staff presence.

The Dome/Zone light shall have a lamp supervision. The stations, and the wiring from the central equipment (CE) to the stations, shall be supervised. The unit shall provide visual and digital communications to and from the CE. Connections shall be plug-in type. The LI386C shall be a stand-alone unit that connects directly to the CE.

The LI-386C shall be UL 1069 Listed.
